In a continuous effort to spread awareness about responsible gaming, Bridges of Hope signed a Memorandum of Agreement with D’Heights as the establishment’s official partner in educating their employees about responsible gaming as well as in detecting problem gaming behavior and helping them get the help they need.

This MOA with D’Heights is just one of the many partnerships Bridges of Hope have secured with casinos licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). Casinos involve entertainment activities that should be enjoyed in legal markets by responsible adults, and PAGCOR has mandated casinos to ensure they are marketed appropriately and that awareness and education are provided along with venues for counseling and treatment.

“It is a privilege to be chosen by D’Heights to be their Responsible Gaming training partner,” shares Dean Calleja, Executive Director for Bridges of Hope in Quezon City, who was present in the signing along with other BH executives.

“We strongly believe in educating people when it comes to promoting responsible gaming, and in the process let them know that help is available if ever they need it. At Bridges of Hope, we provide treatment for all kinds of addiction, including behavioral addictions such as problem gambling, and we have one of the highest success rates in the country,” adds Robert Ty, Executive Director for BH-Parañaque.

In line with this partnership, Bridges of Hope will provide training to casino employees regarding responsible gaming and problem gambling, as well as ways to detect problematic behavior and refer them to any of BH’s six branches for counseling and treatment.

Bridges of Hope is considered as the #1 Addiction Treatment Facility in the Philippines, as well as the fastest-growing, with 6 branches all over the country. Our counselors and facilitators are professionally credentialed and internationally certified. We are also the only treatment facility accredited by the Deportment of Health (DOH), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB).
