The past and the addiction can still catch up to you and everyday can be a big struggle as you consciously battle against your cravings.<\/p>\n<p>To help you out, especially as we roll into the new year, here&#8217;s an addiction recovery checklist that you can use. The most difficult doing it alone.<\/li>\n<li>Practice calling friends before you have cravings.<\/li>\n<li>Become actively involved in self-help recovery groups.<\/li>\n<li>Go to discussion meetings and begin to share. You are not alone.<\/li>\n<li>Get a sponsor and do step work.<\/li>\n<li>Get rid of using friends.<\/li>\n<li>Make time for you and your recovery.<\/li>\n<li>Celebrate your small victories.
