Courage.\u00a0<\/strong>Being courageous doesn&#8217;t mean you don&#8217;t fear anything. It means you are scared, but you do it anyway because it&#8217;s what should be done. It&#8217;s facing yourself in the mirror and acknowledging your faults and weaknesses, that you need help, that you can&#8217;t do it alone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Vulnerability.\u00a0<\/strong>Your greatest growths can stem when you allow yourself to be weak, when you open yourself up to the possibilities of life. This doesn&#8217;t mean you&#8217;re incapable, but that you give yourself more room to grow as you fortify your strengths.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Positive mindset.\u00a0<\/strong>This starts from being grateful even for the littlest things. Have an attitude of gratitude and you can turn any negative experience into a positive and enriching one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Choosing your battles.\u00a0<\/strong>There will be situations and people that may discourage you from your commitment to your recovery. Don&#8217;t waste your energy on these. Be smart about where you spend your time, emotions, and energy on.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Building your self-esteem.\u00a0<\/strong>Believe in yourself. You&#8217;ve gone this far and you can do more. You are on the right path. Sleep well, take care of yourself, and practice this next pillar&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Self-love.\u00a0<\/strong>Take care of yourself. Be healthy, learn new things, fall in love with new hobbies and interests, and just do what&#8217;s best for you. Stop listening to negativity and surround yourself with people and things that help make you grow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Faith.\u00a0<\/strong>There are things in life that you can control&#8211;you can only control how you react to them. For everything else, you have to have faith.
