With rehabilitation centers in demand all over the country, the need for certified and credentialed addiction professionals is also on an all-time high. Due to this, Bridges of Hope has taken an initiative to host a seminar tackling the code of ethics that workers in this field must follow in order to help those who are suffering with substance addiction, or better yet, those who are struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD).

Titled Bridging Insights into Recovery, Bridges of Hope aims to invite aspiring and practicing addiction professionals to further their knowledge with this important aspect of their jobs. The seminar is slated to start on November 21 until November 23 and will be held at MedTek Event Hall in Paranaque.

The seminar, which revolves around Universal Treatment Curriculum 8 (Ethics of Addiction Professionals), has 20 available slots for anyone aspiring to be in the field of addiction treatment and rehabilitation, as well as those who are already practicing in this field, such as therapists, counselors, and facilitators.

This event is the first of many upcoming events by Bridges of Hope in an effort to spread awareness about drug, alcohol, and behavioral addiction, as well as to help stem the stigma about addiction and show that there is treatment available.

Bridging Insights into Recovery is in collaboration with LivingFree Foundation, The International Society of Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Professionals (ISSUP) – Philippines Chapter, and the Colombo Plan.

If you want to be part of the seminar, Bridges of Hope is holding an Early Bird Promo so registration is only Php5,500 until November 15. Afterwards, registration is at Php6,000. This fee includes resource materials, meals, and many more.
