- Take it a step at a time. Instead of going all out and going big with your habit, try to ease yourself into it bit by bit. Tackle it in small chunks. For example, you can try to get rid of processed and junk food first, then progress to healthier options as you go along. This way, you have a better and more realistic chance of sustaining how you cultivate good habits when it comes to your diet and nutrition.
- Take out any excuse from the equation. For example, you want to go to the gym, but find it hard being consistent because you have this or that excuse, like you can’t seem to wake up early for a jog. If this is the case, prepare yourself the night before. Set up your alarm clock and lay out all your jogging clothes so that they are ready when you wake up–on time this time.
