4. You look better. Alcohol dehydrates you, so when you quit alcohol, your skin looks more hydrated and therefore you will have clearer skin. Your face looks less ruddy and your skin will improve its overall appearance.

5. Your resources are better spent on something else. Your time, money, and energy can be spent on m ore worthwhile things. Instead of nights spent at the bar or pub and nursing a hangover for the best part of the next day, you can take up a new hobby, or even a new sport.
